We host the content of our website with the following provider:
IONOS
The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (hereinafter IONOS). When you visit our website, IONOS records various log files including your IP addresses. Details can be found in the privacy policy of IONOS:https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy.
The use of IONOS is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting our website as reliably as possible. Where corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract required by data protection law which ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Cloudflare R2
To store and deliver our digital products (downloads), we use Cloudflare R2, an object storage service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hereinafter “Cloudflare”). The product files we provide are stored on Cloudflare R2 and, after a purchase, made available via a time-limited, signed download link.
The files are retrieved technically via our own server. In doing so, Cloudflare may process technical connection data (e.g. the IP address of the requesting server and the time of retrieval). The use of Cloudflare is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (provision of the purchased product) and on our legitimate interest in the reliable and secure delivery of our products (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The transfer of data to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. In addition, we have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Cloudflare. IONOS (email dispatch)
We use the email service of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (hereinafter “IONOS”) to send transactional emails. After you purchase a digital product, we send you an order confirmation email containing the download link for the product you bought. To do so, your email address and the details of your order are processed by IONOS on our behalf.
This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, as sending the download link is necessary for the performance of our contract with you (delivery of the purchased product). Data processing agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract required by data protection law which ensures that the provider processes the personal data of our customers only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

5. eCommerce and payment providers
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process, and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for establishing, structuring the content of, or amending the contractual relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process, and use personal data regarding the use of this website (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill the user for it.
The customer data collected will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship and expiry of any applicable statutory retention periods. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Payment services
We integrate payment services from third-party companies on our website.
